A glass muller for mixing the pigments into a paste with the egg yoke. Spoons to pour the pigments onto the mixing slab and a scraper to remove the pigment paste into the pot or jar.

The paint brushes, made from reed handles with either pony tail hair or squirrel.

These are gum arabic crystals can be mixed in with the pigment paste in it's liquid form.

The pigments themselves. Stored and displayed in replica Roman glass jars. One of my small egg tempera pieces displayed in front of the pigment box.
